About Kochia

Also known as 'Mexican Fire Bush', and 'Summer Cypress', Kochia is an unusual plant in a cylindrical cone shape, 2 to 4 ft. tall with feathery pale green dense foliage that becomes intense purple-red in autumn. Quite a show in autumn! Equally wonderful as a tightly shaped specimen plant in a flower garden, or as a annual hedge. The symmetrical and oval form make it an outstanding foliage plant. The Kochia bush is truly one of a kind and brings a great addition to the flower garden and looks great when grown as a hedge along the border or in groups of 3 for focal interest.
